As I spend more and more time behind a camera, I spend equally as much time trying to minimize my workflow. Doing so allows me to simplify my workflow as a photographer and instead focus on my subject, which is the most important part of the shoot.
Being at a rental studio, I used the resources that I had available to my disposal, but that always allows me to be creative on set.
During my shoot with Ali from Q Models, I opted to use a single light source (a Profoto D1 500w) and a single modifier (a Profoto 3x4' Softbox). That would later change to a Profoto D1 500w with a Parabolic Softbox and a softbox (with no light) used as a reflector.
