Why I Started Faith + Business

Why I Started Faith + Business

A few years ago, I caught myself editing out a Bible verse before hitting “post.” Not because I was ashamed, but because I didn’t want the blowback. That was the moment I knew something had to change.

Let’s be real for a second.

I’ve seen too many business owners water down who they are to stay “safe” in a world that wants you to be palatable to everyone. Good people hide their beliefs, values, and faith… to avoid the noise, the backlash, the “you can’t say that” crowd. And I get it. I’ve been there.

But the truth is, we weren’t called to fit in. We were called to stand out.

I created Faith + Business because I needed a space where I could speak freely about both, not just scripture or strategy, but how to actually live and lead with both, without masks, filters, or pretending.

You shouldn’t have to separate your calling from your career.

You can run a profitable, powerful business and still walk boldly with your faith intact. You can honor God while building generational wealth. You can be unapologetically excellent in the marketplace and unapologetically obedient to your purpose.

This blog is for the ones who feel that tension. The ones who are tired of compartmentalizing. The ones who know they’re meant to lead differently, but haven’t had the language or community to do it yet.

If that’s you, welcome. You’re not alone anymore.

This blog isn’t for everyone. It’s for the builders, the doers, the believers who refuse to keep their faith silent. If that’s you, you’re home.
